Popular bongo artist Professor Jay is now a married man after exchanging vows with his long term girlfriend Grace Mgonjo over the weekend at St Joseph’s church in Dar es Salaam.
The posh affair started from the artist’s home in Kimara-Temboni leading a fleet of cars to the church where the ceremony took place in the presence of their friends and family.
Professor Jay who also happens to be a member of parliament of Mikumi, proposed to Grace early this year.
The couple held their star studded reception at Mlimani city amongst those who attended included Lady JayDee and Diamond who also performed.
The glitz affair saw the couple change into a different set of outfit during the reception designed by Tanzanian fashion designer JC Mudilo. Grace looked stunning in a long mermaid gold gown while the ‘Zari La Mentali’ artist wore all white.
