A Court in Dar es Salaam has found Judith Wambura, popularly known as Lady Jaydee, guilty in a case opened against her by Clouds fm Media group.
The case was opened three years ago when Cloud FM’s General Manager, Joseph Kusaga and the station’s head of production Ruge Mutahaba accused Lady Jay Dee of defamation, but the charges against her were read this past Wednesday by Magistrate Boni Lyamike. Jay Dee, who has been off the music radar for some time now allegedly, defamed the two through her blog.
Magistrate Boni in his judgment asked the singer to offer a public apology to the two Cloud Fm’s top honchos for defaming them and also pay them for damaging their reputation. The singer, who lost the case hands down, was the only witness in the case.
Jide, as she is popularly known to her fans admitted to all the charges and was asked to foot all the legal fees of the case.
