Lady Gaga has split with actor fiancé Taylor Kinney after five years.
Last week, Gaga was seen without her engagement ring while she was out and about in Malibu. Taylor celebrated his birthday on the same day.
Sources told People magazine that the pressures of the pair’s careers drove them apart, with both regularly travelling away from home.
Taylor filmed his hit TV show Chicago Fire on location for months at a time, while Gaga was often performing around the world.
‘Their work kept them apart a lot,’ an industry source told People magazine.
Earlier this year, Gaga arrived at her 30th birthday celebrations wearing a gold band on her ring finger, instead of her diamond engagement ring, fuelling speculation the couple may have secretly tied the knot.
Gaga and Taylor have two pet pooches together, French bulldogs Koji and Miss Asia Kinney, but it’s not yet known who the canines will live with.
The talented pair began dating in July 2011 after meeting on set of her music video for You And I.
