As you read this our own Ugandan Big Brother Stargame representative Kyle is in things! He has signed a 2 year contract with a Paris based record label called La Cave Musik. His singing has finally paid off and the whole world is about to know who Kyle is all about, well musically!
As we can remember, he spent most of the time in the Big Brother Stargame singing with the likes of Botswana’s Eve (his love interest by the way) and of course it was evident he could sing whenever he had his performing sessions with Kenya’s Prezzo while in the Upville house of the Big Brother Stargame a year ago. We can also vividly recall when he used to talk passionately about music with his departed good friend in the Stargame, Goldie. Seems like his dreams are finally coming true!
We met up with him after he broke the good news on his twitter account @uptownkyle. This is what he wrote;

Asked about how much he will be earning off the label, he declined telling us to just watch him. The one half of Uptown, an RnB duo in Uganda, Kyle says he will have his fellow Uptown boy Remy Ratzy as part of the crew that will help him produce good music. We also reached Remy and this is what he had to say;
Kyle is definitely my best inspiration so far. We do everything together and his calmness and smart head is what has got him where he is so far and he deserves all the good things happening to him right now. We have just finished shooting the video of our new single Facebook Lover Remix and we are both in good spirits and waiting to give our fans plus our future fans the best!
As we talk, this guy is perhaps the only Ugandan, of course besides Gaetano that seems to have reaped from his Big Brother Fame.
First he started a clothing line “KYLE” which has seen some moderate success especially in Uganda with most of the young fans of his at least owning a Kyle baseball cap, not forgetting he is one of the youngest Radio and Television radio personalities in Uganda and most definitely one for the future. He is no undoubtedly a hard working young man and we wish him good luck with the music.
