It was fun and excitement on Friday evening as Kyambogo University held their Campus Carnival at East end pitch. The students who had just concluded noisy and stressful Guild election campaigns and voting had the perfect opportunity to wash off the fatigue and welcome the weekend in style.
Usually the organizers open gates to the event by 7pm, but this was not the case as the party kicked off at 6pm with DJ Ali Breezy on stage playing the latest selections to the joy of early revelers at the pitch. By 8pm, the pitch was full to capacity.
The students were also treated to exciting and energetic performances by a host of top artistes.
Geosteady opened the night with his latest hit ‘Finally’ which left revelers raising dust from the dry pitch. Nina Roz, dressed in all black with a golden hat and orange shoes took to the stage to perform her hit songs Anayinama and Olumya Bano. The most exciting performance of the Night was by John Blaq popularly known for his song Tukwatagane.
The carnival which was sponsored by Smirnoff Ice Green Apple was aimed at taking a fresh, fun and high energy Smirnoff Ice Green Apple experience to Campusers. The next stop will be Mbarara.
