The show was premiered at a glamorous event held at Mestil Hotel last Thursday. The exclusive premiere attracted A-listers in the entertainment industry including movie producers, actors and musicians.

Kyaddala season 2 follows a university setting and highlights challenges faced by young people at an advanced level of education, building up on the first season which focused on secondary school life.

It features a star-studded cast including Allan Toniks, Michael Tamale, Anita Fabiola, Sammy Wetala, Laura Kahunde and Sam Bagenda among others.

Speaking at the premiere, Humphrey Nabimanya, the founder and team leader at Reach a Hand Uganda, revealed that the show was made possible by support from government as well as its other partners.

“For the last 10 years, we have used music and the arts to communicate to young people. But we would not have done that without the support of government and our other partners.” Humphrey Nabimanya said, further noting that the show has employed over 600 Ugandans on both sets.

The show will air on NBS TV starting this March.
