Some people say Uganda doesn’t have talent in the movie industry, but one proud Ugandan has defied this.
Ntale Guma Mbaho Mwine is a talented actor and film maker. He was born and raised in New Hampshire and he’s apparently known for his movie appearances in Blood Diamond, New York under covers of 1995, Unaired Pilot, Crime Scene Investigations as Maurice, Treme series and many more.
Ntale has also gone ahead to venture into the industry as a movie maker by starting with short films among which is Kuhani that has attracted the attention of many Ugandans and the international society. As a result of this, this short film has been selected to air during the 44th edition of Rotterdam International Film Festival come 21st Jan. to 1st Feb., 2015 and this comes after the short film was premiered in Uganda during the film festival organized by UCC early this year.
