Kool & The Gang have arrived in Kampala ahead of their concert this weekend.
The band who jetted in on Friday evening promised to deliver a highly energized performance when they take to the stage in what will be the biggest disco themed production in Uganda’s history.
The Tusker Malt Lager sponsored concert that has been organised by Talent Africa Group and Silk Events will have a 70’s style themed dress code.
With over 70 million album copies sold worldwide, Kool & The Gang have been responsible for some of the most timeless records over the years and have influenced the music of three generations – Thanks to smash hits like; Cherish, Get Down On It, Celebration, Fresh, Jungle Boogie, Joanna, Too Hot, Hollywood Swinging, Lets Go Dancing, and Summer Madness among others.
The Kool & The Gang live in Kampala concert will be hosted at the Kololo Airstrip Grounds this Saturday, 12th November.
Tickets are sold in the Bronze, Silver and Gold categories. Bronze tickets are available at 150k, Silver Tickets at 250k and Gold VVIP tables are 5 million shillings a table.
