After 57 year old Koffi Olamide set Kampala ablaze last Friday at Lugogo with a 2 hour long Congolese music performance, his fellow Congolese music singer Awilo who was popular in Uganda in the 90’s is set for a show in Kampala.
Many music promoters who have been thinking of bringing Jamaican artistes to Uganda have shifted their focus to Congolese music stars. One such promoter is already in talks with Awilo to have him grace Kampala with a mega show.
