Uganda’s under-23 national team will today resume training at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo ahead of their return leg clash with Egypt in the 3rd round qualification campaign of the CAF U-23 Africa Championship whose finals will be played in Senegal later this year.

The squad that travelled to Egypt for the first leg will be no different from the players expected in camp today.

The Kobs will also be involved in two friendly matches. They will play Uganda Cup defending champions SC Villa on Saturday 25th July, 2015 while the other game will be played on Wednesday 29th August against a team that is yet to be established.

Meanwhile, speaking about Uganda’s 4-0 loss to Egypt at the Al Borg El Arba stadium in Alexandria during last weekend’s encounter, head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic said that the defeat was just an accident.

3rd Round return leg:
Uganda Vs Egypt [Aggregate Score: Egypt 4-0 Uganda]
1st August, 2015 Nakivubo stadium, Kampala.
