Having rested on Sunday and Monday, the under-23 National team resumes preparations today for their return leg against neighbors of Rwanda in the CAF Under-23 Qualifiers.
Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic deemed it vital for the boys to have a two days’ rest before resuming training ahead of the Saturday clash that will be played in the heart of Kampala at the Nakivubo stadium.

“Many of these players have been actively involved in several domestic league and cup fixtures. They are fatigued and the two day’s break will be very important,” Milutin Sedrojevic told Kawowo.
Despite having won the first leg at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali city by 2-1, thanks to the brilliant efforts of team Captain Farouk Miya and second half substitute, Muzamiru Mutyaba who were on the score board, Micho says the job is far from done.
The aggregate victor of the two sides after both legs will be progress to the next stage of the competition where they will face Egypt next month to decide who earns a slot at the Africa U-23 finals in Senegal come December 2015.
