The Uganda Kobs have today(9th July) resumed non-residential training at Nakivubo stadium in Kampala.

Having defeated Rwanda on a 4-1 aggregate over two legs that they won 2-1 and 2-0, away and home respectively, the Kobs progressed to the next qualification stage of the campaign in which they will be facing Egypt.

The side will play a two legged fixture with Egypt hosting Uganda in the first around(17th-19th July) before a return leg in Kampala on the weekend of 1st August 2015.

The aggregate winner after both legs will earn themselves a slot at the finals of the U-23 Africa Championship finals that are due late November and December 2015 in Senegal.

The best three teams at the competition will then qualify to play at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
