King Saha has issued a strong warning to the Katwe Division Police Commander (DPC) following an incident during his Easter Sunday performance at Calendar Hotel in Makindye.

According to eyewitnesses, the drama unfolded just as the artist was about to perform his political song, Akamwanyi.
The DPC unexpectedly stormed the stage and ordered the music to be turned off, abruptly halting the show. This sparked outrage among the crowd, with revellers loudly booing the officer and demanding the performance resume.
In a subsequent interview, King Saha did not mince words, openly criticizing the DPC’s actions and accusing him of overstepping his authority.
“I do not have any problem with you, but I do not know why you chose to come on stage during my performance,” Saha said. “You chose being an Afande and I chose music. I may not be your friend but I’m not your enemy.”
The singer went on to call the officer’s actions “despicable” and warned that legal action could follow if such interference continues. He emphasized that artists deserve respect and protection during performances, especially when fans have paid to attend.
“I promise to go head-to-head with the next afande that comes in between me and my job,” he added. “Why would you bring chaos to someone’s show where people have paid money? Will you be able to calm down the chaos?”
