Ugandan stylist Kim Swagga has finally broken his silence on long-standing claims that he is the father of socialite Bad Black’s daughter, Davina.
In an open letter, he revealed that a DNA test conducted eight years ago confirmed he is not the biological father, contrary to what has been widely believed.
Kim Swagga expressed his frustration over being publicly humiliated for over a decade, accusing Bad Black of continuously provoking him whenever media attention was on her. Despite the public scrutiny, he had chosen to remain silent about the matter until now.
“For more than 10 years, you have always belittled, humiliated, and provoked me publicly as long as there is a camera in front of you,” he wrote in his statement.
Recounting an incident from eight years ago, Kim Swagga disclosed that he had an opportunity to conduct a DNA test when Davina fell ill.
According to him, Bad Black had just been released from prison at the time and asked him to take the child to the hospital as she was unable to do so.
Seizing the moment, he went ahead with the tests without Bad Black’s consent after convincing the doctor to proceed. The results, he claims, confirmed that he is not the father, but he chose to keep them private until now.
“I regret not opening up to her mother about it. Maybe we wouldn’t have reached this extent of making it a public matter.”
Despite his earlier test, Kim Swagga has now challenged Bad Black to conduct another DNA test, this time in the public eye. He expressed his willingness to participate in a live DNA test to put an end to the ongoing speculation.
“I am open to another DNA test just for you, and I challenge you to making it live on camera for the public to know, since you have always taken the matter public,” he stated.
