Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani has revealed that she is proud of Ugandan songbird Lilian Mbabazi after the “Dagala” singer had a successful solo concert at Kampala Serena hotel recently. Kimani added that she wished she had attended the concert.
She posted: “So proud of my Ugandan Sis @lilianmbabazi !!! I wish I were there to see you bring the house down with your beautiful voice.”
Lilian who seemed moved by Kimani’s touching compliment responded saying: “Awwww missed having you there…. History was made!”
True to her word, history was made indeed! Lilian successfully accomplished many firsts on the evening: it was the first time she was holding a solo concert, and also the first time she was holding a concert in such a high profile place.
