This could be a heartbreaker, but yes, Channel O award-winning boy group P-Unit is headed for a split. The hit makers who have been at the helm of the regional showbiz since they came together in 2007 are going the Camp Mullah way with individual members launching their solo careers.
Frasha is set to launch his first project this Friday with Gabu and Bon-Eye taking the same direction. The group released their first album Wagenge Hao in 2010 with songs like ‘Kare’, ‘Una’ (featuring DNA), ‘Hapa Kule’, ‘Kushoto Kulia’ and ‘Si Lazima’, making them household names across East Africa.
Their recent projects include ‘Love’, a kwaito single released last year and ‘Weka Weka’, released about a month ago.
