Kenya’s national football team, Harambe Stars has jetted into the country this morning ahead of their highly anticipated friendly tie with Uganda Cranes on Tuesday, 30th at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
The Harambe Stars are here to take on Uganda in a buildup match as the two nations prepare for their final matches in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
The Cranes are in preparations to face Comoros on September 4th at Namboole in their last Group D match in the road to Gabon. Only a victory can guarantee Uganda a slot at the finals of the continental competition.
Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes played a friendly match against league leaders KCCA FC over the weekend which they won 1-0, thanks to Mohammad Shaban’s only goal.
