Ke$ha’s mother Pebe Sebert has checked into the same rehab facility as her daughter.
Ke$ha is currently seeking treatment for an eating disorder at Timberline Knolls near Chicago, after entering the centre on January 3.
Sebert revealed yesterday (January 11) that she would be joining her daughter at the clinic to seek treatment for her own issues.
She told People: “I’m checking myself into Timberline Knolls today for post-traumatic stress disorder, at Ke$ha’s urging.”
Sebert recently denied claims that her daughter is also being treated for alcohol abuse at the centre.
“That’s a total lie,” she said. “The place she’s at is an eating disorder centre.
“She was dieting and she became bulimic. I remember over a period of a few months she got really skinny and she said she was running Runyon Canyon [in LA] and just eating well.”
In a statement released earlier this month, Ke$ha said that she will be at the clinic for 30 days.
“I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice,” she explained. “I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder.”
