To many people, Rodney Kefas Namisi, professionally known as Kefas Brand is just the founder and CEO of Think Media Uganda.
Those who know him well know that he has since evolved. He has a strong foothold in the film and Television industry.
Today Kefas Brand, a globally celebrated social entrepreneur, philanthropist, an Actor, Business Man, Media Personality and Influencer. He is the sole proprietor Think Media Uganda which is Think Tv Uganda and Think Tv FM Uganda. A prominent figure in modern-day Uganda’s Media, Kefas Brand is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African personalities of all time.
Kefas Brand’s passion for the work he does comes from a place so deep; a childhood littered with trials, trauma, and tragedy. Kefas Brand was born in Mbale city, Uganda, and grew up in Mbale city. His mother, Mariam Namisi, is a Business Woman and a Pastor, and his father, Namisi Kefas Samuel, is a Politician, Engineer and Businessman. Kefas has two younger brothers; Namisi Arnold Paul (born. 2002) and Namisi Govin Emma (born. 2008) and a younger sister, Princess Praise Elizabeth (born. 2018). Kefas studied at various schools in Uganda which includes; Grace Primary school, Tower Primary School, Kings Education Center, Trust Primary School, St Lawrence London college, Mbale Secondary School, Joy Secondary School, Hilton high school Mukono, Code Highschool Mukono, Seroma Christian High School, Makerere College School, Seeta High School Mukono, and Allied Teachers SS.
Kefas Brand says he doesn’t drink alcohol, wines or even smoke. He also does not have any tattoos. He was engaged in a motor accident in 2016 which led him into brain surgery leaving him with a deep scar on his head.
Kefas Brand rose to fame in 2014 via Facebook due to his popular funny posts. It made him get recognized by man to even making friends with. Popular stars in the country musicians, actors and comedians. He then went ahead and becthe an entertainment prefect in the various schools he went to due to his funny personality that made students fall in love with him In 2018 kefas picked interest in acting and started pursuing online film and drama lectures and attained a certificate. In 2020 he started a YouTube channel and started acting comedy skits on his YouTube channel (Think Tv Comedy House) which got a big audience. In 2022, he started up an online radio Station (Think Tv Uganda FM) Later that year he also started forex trading and other kinds of investments. He is the CEO of Think Media Uganda.
