After failing to defend their Mapinduzi Peace Cup title recently in Zanzibar, KCCA will resume training tomorrow at the Philip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo ahead of the second phase of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) season 2014/15.

The Kasasiro boys returned to the country from Zanzibar over the weekend after having been knocked out of the Mapinduzi Peace Cup at the quarter final stage last week on Thursday by home based side Police F.C on a 5-4 penalty shootout.

“Training resumes on Wednesday at Phillip Omondi stadium,” the Club’s General Secretary David Tamale said.

Having secured ex-goalie Benjamin Ochan, KCCA are also closing in on securing the services of Francis Olaki as they continue to strengthen their squad.

“Olaki is close. Everything has been agreed on and only signing papers waits. We expect all things completed on Tuesday”, confirms a statement on the KCCA website.
