Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club are in residential training this week ahead of their Saturday clash with Cameroon’s Cosmos De Bafia. The Kasasiro boys who moved in Tuesday are now residents of Mandela Sports Hotel, Namboole.
“The boys start residential training on Tuesday and will reside at Mandela Sports Hotel, Namboole,” David Tamale, the club’s secretary told the KCCA official website.
Despite the team facing a few injury setbacks, head coach Abdallah Mubiru has praised the residential training move as one that will give maximum concentration to the boys ahead of the very important clash.
“It’s important and comes at a time when we most need it. Its time all focus must shift to the game on Saturday,” Mubiru said.
The Uganda Premier League defending champions must be the better side on aggregate after two legs if they are to qualify to the next stage of the competition in which the better team is set to face off with South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.
