Eleven time league record champions and eight time Uganda Cup winners, Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) resumed training on Monday, 11th July ahead of the new season.
The Azam Uganda premier League (AUPL) reigning champions kicked off preparations for 2016/2017 campaign at their newly refurbished home, Phillip Omondi Stadium.
“After two weeks of rest and merry making, the boys are back to business at The Phillip Omondi getting ready for the Azam Uganda Premier League 2016/17 Season,” the club revealed.
In attendance of the first pre-season training session was newly appointed assistant manager Morley Byekwaso who was seen taking part in the team’s drills together with his superior Mike Mutebi.
KCCA FC have been busy in the transfer market trying to strengthen their squad and have already secured the services of left footed winger Brian Majwega, striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Vincent Kayizzi.
