Kampala Capital City Authority FC has set off today for Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania ahead of this year’s 2015 CECAFA Kagame Cup.
The team set off today morning following a change in their travel arrangements.
The team will be without first choice goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi, midfielders Paul Mucureezi and Daniel Isiagi (injury), new signing Richard Ayiko from Maroons FC and Yasin Mugume due to injuries.
The good news is that attacking midfielder Tom Masiko has recovered in time to travel with the rest of the team.
KCCA are seeded in group C with Tanzania’s Azam, Malakia (South Sudan) and Adama City from Ethiopia.
Their only title victory at the annual tournament came way back in 1978 and finished fourth at last year’s edition held in Kigali, Rwanda.
