Renowned city emcee and Buddies production owner David Kazoora has finally been released from jail where he has been detained for the last couple of days. Aboard RwandAir Kazoora arrived in Uganda in the wee hours of Tuesday night along with a few friends who escorted him back to Uganda.
The talkative emcee was last month jailed in neighboring Rwanda at Kachiru police station for fraud. He was released early this week after two weeks.
We have also learnt that Kazoora and the complainants have agreed to settle the matter outside court with Kazoora refunding the money. Apparently Kazoora is expected to return to Rwanda to execute his Airtel Rwanda deal as earlier on agreed. This will include the emcee compensating the company for damages too.
