Kawempe Muslim beat UCU Lady Cardinals 1-0 in a game played on Thursday afternoon at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium to book a place in the finals. Hasfa Nasuna scored the only goal of the game just a minute before halftime to help the reigning champions earn the first slot in finals.
At the same venue, She Corporate edged Gafford Ladies 2-1 to take the second slot in the finals. Cissy Kaliba netted to give She Corporate a halftime lead before Fallone Nahimana leveled matters for the Gafford ladies. Minutes later, Cissy Nalubega restored the lead for the Corporates which eventually turned out to be the match winner.
The two sides will now battle it out for the league title on Sunday at Nakivubo.
