In a recent interview, Katongole Omutongole revealed how much his wife trusts him and would do anything for him before saying that he has a problem on his mind.
The TV and Radio personality who was recently arrested following accusations of alleged defilement, said that he loves his wife so much but sometimes the problems on his head get to him.
“My dear wife trusts me and surely knows the kind of person I am and what I can or can’t do. She knows most of what they said about me is not true,” he said.
He was then tasked to explain why he always forgets her birthday a thing she has complained about publicly several times. “I don’t think that when one truly loves another, they can forget such a day, because it’s always special. It is when the one you cherish the most was born. Well, she was right to say that since I had forgotten her birthday that year, though it happened only once and it was because I had some serious problems on my mind,” Katongole said.
The kinds of problems that he had on his mind when he forgot his wife’s birthday is something we are not yet privy to.
The Bukedde TV presenter who was suspended from his job for breach of moral code of conduct following his defilement scandal insists that he is innocent. “For God’s sake it is not true that I defiled a 14-year-old girl. I am a father of three children. I cannot do such a thing to another man’s daughter,” he said.
