Former Ugandan media personality Katongole Omutongole has finally revealed the reason behind his decision to leave Bukedde TV.
In a recent interview, Katongole explained that he chose to resign after the station failed to revise his salary.
According to Katongole, he had asked Bukedde TV to improve his pay after many years of dedicated service.
Despite giving the station a one-month grace period to consider his request, the management did not take any action.
“I gave them enough time, hoping they would make changes to my salary, but nothing was done,” he said.
Feeling undervalued, Katongole made the decision to quit and later relocated abroad in search of better opportunities.
Katongole Omutongole was one of the most recognizable faces on Bukedde TV, known for his engaging presentation style and deep connection with viewers. His departure marked the end of an era for the station.
