Renowned comedian and CBS radio presenter has landed safely into the country after having a successful heart surgery early this month.
Kato Lubwama was diagnosed with Triple Vessels Disease (TVD) after he was admitted at Mulago Hospital in November last year. The comedian had to raise over Ushs 40million for the specialised procedure that could only be carried out in India.
After raising the required funds, Kato travelled to India towards the end of December where he would later have a successful operation. The news of the successful operation was broke by Hon Norbert Mao, the president of DP, a party Lubwama is an active member.
“News seeping in from the hospital in India where Omulongo Kato Lubwama checked in a few days ago is that the surgery was successful and he is now awake from the general anesthesia. Lets keep him in our prayers for a quick and full recovery,” said Mao.
