The Katikkiro (Prime Minister) of the Kingdom of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has dismissed allegations that Central Broadcasting Station (CBS) FM is not on good terms with musician and political leader Bobi Wine.

Speaking to the media, Mayiga clarified that there is no conflict between CBS FM and Bobi Wine, whose real name is Robert Kyagulanyi.
He explained that the frequency of Bobi Wine’s appearances on CBS FM is similar to his presence on other local radio stations.

“There is no issue between CBS and Bobi Wine,” Mayiga stated.
“The times he appears on CBS are not different from how often he appears on other stations.”
CBS FM is one of the leading radio stations in Uganda and is owned by the Buganda Kingdom.
Bobi Wine, a popular artist and leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), has not been featured on CBS FM in recent months, sparking speculation on social media.
Mayiga’s remarks now put to rest those rumors, emphasizing that the station continues to operate in a neutral and professional manner.
