After a six-month break, Uganda’s dynamic girl duo, Kataleya and Kandle, have made a striking comeback. The singers announced their return early Thursday morning on May 30, 2024, through their new social media accounts.
To mark their reentry into the music world, the duo shared photos of themselves sporting shirts printed with the words “Back Like Never Left.” Accompanying the images was the caption, “Who missed us?”
The duo’s absence from the music scene followed a quiet departure from their former management, stemming from an initially silent dispute that later became public early in the year.

During their time away, Kataleya and Kandle have worked diligently to rebuild their confidence and renew their creative energy.
They have rebranded themselves as “K&K Music” and launched new social media pages, suggesting lingering issues with their previous management.
