Mirundi, a prominent figure in Ugandan journalism and former Presidential Press Secretary, passed away on August 14, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital Kisubi.

Among the regrets Mirundi reportedly had was losing his position as Presidential Press Secretary. Kasuku noted that Mirundi believed he was framed by enemies within the State House, which led to his dismissal.

Additionally, Mirundi felt a deep sense of low self-esteem and defeat as he watched his adversaries advance while he felt powerless.

Mirundi also expressed concerns that his enemies played a significant role in influencing his downfall.
