Kasiwukira murder suspect reportedly escapes from custody.

A prime suspect in the murder of city tycoon and music promoter, Kasiwukira has reportedly escaped from custody.

A one Opio who was apprehended in Lira early this week is said to have disappeared shortly after his arrest.

Opio who had been arrested along with 3 others including Kasiwukira’s sister in-law Sandra, is suspected to have been behind the wheels of the car that run over Kasiwukira on the fateful day. The car used in the murder was procured Sandra, who is said to have masterminded the murder of the city tycoon.

Police is yet to give an account on how Opio escaped from custody.

City tycoon Kasiwukira was reportedly knocked down by a vehicle on the morning of 17th October as he set out for his routine morning jog.
