Renowned dancehall singer Karole Kasita has opened up about her painful experience in her first romantic relationship, where she felt deceived and heartbroken.
According to Karole, her first boyfriend took advantage of her innocence and lack of experience in love.
She was later shocked to discover that the man she trusted had two other girlfriends, one of whom had even given birth to his child.
The betrayal was devastating for Karole, especially when the two other women joined forces to warn her to stay away from their man.
The situation left her heartbroken, but she was determined not to be humiliated.
In an emotional moment, she and her friends confronted one of the women during a night out in Kampala, leading to a heated altercation where she even lost her shoes in the scuffle.
Despite the pain, Karole found support and encouragement from the GoodLyfe crew, led by the former singing duo Radio & Weasel.
They advised her never to cry for the man again, helping her regain her confidence and move forward.
Today, Karole Kasita has grown into one of Uganda’s top dancehall artists, proving that heartbreaks can be overcome with resilience and the right support system.
