Singer Nsubuga Karim Saava has decided to do charitable work through the art of music and has since released a song titled “Say No To Terrorism” which he believes will play a significant role in counteracting the fast rising terror attacks. He officially announced this on Monday, as he launched his UWEZO Impressions Company.
Karim initiated the UWEZO Impressions Company that he is urging the government to aid and strongly support in a bid to use the art of music to fight day-to-day vices in the country such as rape, violence against women and most importantly terrorism that is rampant apparently.
The singer gave examples of Philly Lutaaya who sang against stigmatization of AIDS patients, Brenda Fassie and Reggea Superstar Lucky Dube who colluded with the late Nelson Mandela to fight apartheid in South Africa.
At the press briefing, Saava revealed a survivor of the Kyandondo Bomb attack who requires a Ugx 30M operation to whom he contributed half a million instantly.
