Kapalaga beat Pallaso hands down in a Mukono music showdown over the weekend. Both singers had different shows on the same day in Mukono on Saturday, 12th September, 2015. Kapalaga’s show took place at Satellite beach, Mukono while Pallaso’s took place at Colline hotel in Mukono, a stone’s throw away from Kapalaga’s concert.
Having refused to postpone his concert amid threats from the “Twatoba” singer, Kapalaga had set himself for an uphill battle as he set out to compete for fans on d-day with Pallaso whose music has recently been enjoying ample airplay on the local airwaves.
Kaplaga managed to pull a mammoth crowd that jam-packed Satellite Beach. Kapalaga’s success was largely attributed to his popular show on Simba FM, according to analysts.
