A pair of Nike trainers designed by Kanye West are currently on eBay priced at £10 million.
Red pairs of the rapper’s delayed Air Yeezy 2 were put online for sale by Nike yesterday (February 9) and were sold out within minutes.
The surprise sale – which was announced on Twitter – saw the Air Yeezy 2 trainers being bought at the recommended retail price of £220.
However, due to the extremely limited run, pairs were immediately listed on eBay, with one auction’s bidding currently at £10m.
West ended his deal with Nike last year after the delay of his new line of trainers, and swiftly signed a new deal with Adidas.
The star’s Air Yeezy 2s were the follow-up to his original Air Yeezy line back in 2009, which also appeared on eBay for the significantly lower price of $1,650 (£1,120).
