Kanye West reportedly spent less than an hour in police custody Thursday (March 27).
The rapper was booked in relation to a 2013 scuffle with photographer Daniel Ramos at LAX Airport, according to TMZ.
As part of a no contest plea in regard to the misdemeanour battery case, he was required to turn himself into a police station, which is standard procedure for first-time offenders.
West is said to have arrived at the LAPD station in Hollywood on Thursday at 4.30pm local time.
While he was in custody, he had his mugshot and fingerprints taken, spending a total of just 49 minutes at the station.
His deal also requires him to avoid illegal activity for two years, and to attend an anger management course.
