Benezeri Robbed By Taxi Thieves Fast rising rapper, Benezeri Wanjala Chibita aka Benezeri survived physical injury by a whisker after boarding the wrong taxi. Benezeri who’d just come out of Vision House happened to board a taxi that harbored robbers that made away with his bag.
He narrates the experience; “Be careful, Kampala is no longer as safe: A few minutes ago (9:45 p.m) , I crossed the road from Vision where I’d been having an interview and I flagged down a taxi along Lugogo by pass.I was (am) extremely exhausted. It was almost full, only men though. I sat in the front. Before long, the taxi stopped, just before Game and the conductor started pretending that the front door couldnt close. He got ouy and started fidgeting with the door. The person next to me startetd pulling the laptop forcefully out of its bag. I was hit on the head with I dont know what. Then I was pushed out of the taxi. I was distraught. I was angry and shocked and sad and afraid at the same time. My laptop was one of my most important possessions. However, I thank God that I wasnt physically injured and that I am alive. However, you reading this. You might not be as fortunate. Be careful.”
We are just glad that he came out alive and kicking.
