Kampala derby between SC Villa and Express FC rescheduled

After the Kampala derby between Sports Club Villa and Express Football Club wasn’t played on Friday last week as planned due to a heavy down pour that flooded Nakivubo Stadium, a new date for the clash has been set.

The Uganda Premier League (UPL) secretariat has rescheduled the duel between these old rivals for this week on Saturday at the same venue.

“A new date Saturday 7th November, 2015 has been set for the fixture between SC Villa and Express FC. Other fixtures that had been rescheduled have also got new dates,” UPL Chief Executive Officer, Bernard Bainamani is quoted on the federation’s website.

Other matches that had earlier on been postponed for different reasons have also been rescheduled to new dates, as Bainamani promised that matches whose dates have not been given will be communicated soon.

New dates for the rescheduled matches:

Friday 6th November, 2015: Vipers vs Police -Buikwe 4.30pm
Friday 6th November, 2015: KCCA FC vs Bright stars FC 4.30pm
Saturday 7th November, 2015: Sc Villa vs Express FC 4pm
