All she wanted was to prove to her former bosses wrong. She had just been fired from her NTV Life Stories job and replaced with Bebe Cool’s wife, Zuena Kimera, and she sought to start a fresh, shine and make her former bosses wish they had never sacked her. But something went wrong as Justine Nameere, a paralegal climbed the TV stairs.
“She started working on her show, she hired us to do the production of her new TV show which was supposed to air on Urban TV, it was a replica of the NTV Life stories. We went ahead and did the job, she promised to pay us. Justine never got any sponsor for the show and her problems started from there,” said one of the people she worked with when she had just left NTV.
According to sources, the TV presenter went into heavy debt as she couldn’t pay off the Production Company which now wants her throat. “We did all that we were told, we worked on the show but no money was coming through. She failed to pay our 18 million shillings and everything went sour. We took her to court recently and we are waiting for the verdict in November,” he added.
Justine was so determined to outshine her former bosses that things backfired on her. She got debts that she couldn’t pay according to close sources and her show failed to make it. She then moved to Minibuzz and later threw in the towel for her legal studies.
Friends say that she could end up in jail if she is not helped. Last weekend, the curvaceous TV star was arrested for failing to clear CM money lenders. She was found near Makerere guest house where she had been hiding.
In her defense, Nameere says that all the reports about her are utter nonsense geared towards tarnishing her name. “There’s nonsense that you MUST treat as nonsense especially if it’s so false, so made up and so uncoordinated i.e ignore! People who spread falsehoods about others in the name of making money or news or whatever it is, God have mercy on you if He wants. Everyone’s future and blessing is in God’s hands, there’s got to be more than lies to change that! Otherwise have a beautiful week ladies and gentlemen,” she told us on Sunday.
