Justin Bieber has thanked his Beliebers, following the controversy caused by his arrest in Miami Beach.
Bieber was arrested on Thursday (January 23) on suspicion of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired licence, and was released on bail later in the day.
The ‘Boyfriend’ singer evoked comparisons to the legal problems faced by the late Michael Jackson on Instagram earlier today (January 24).
He has now released his first statement since his arrest on Twitter.

Lady Gaga has urged her fans to show support for Bieber, while Seth Rogen has branded the popstar a “piece of s**t”.
