Bebe Cool’s wife Zuena has taken to social media to relive the July 11 bombings at Kyadondo Rugby grounds and narrate how his hubby survived the bomb attack.
Zuena posted: “11-July-2010…i remember this day so vividly like it was yesterday. I escorted my husband for a performance at Kyadondo Rugby grounds since he was using crutches after he was shot a few months before that date by a drunk policeman & he needed all the support we as family could afford…
It was the World Cup finale and at half time he made his way to the stage,immediately after his performance a bomb went off & i remember us falling on the ground trying to figure out what had made that loud noise,before we knew it another one went off & we all started running for our dear lives leaving our cars behind & grabbing bodas to the nearest hospital or any place of safety…
It was an unexplainable scene full of wailing,tears & grief. Am still humbled that we are still alive & pray to Allah to keep comforting the families of the deceased as we pray Allah rests their souls in peace..”
