Sensational singer Juliana Kanyomozi has rushed to studio to re-do the Uganda anthem adding nothing but high pitches and melodies. The singer did her new version from Fenon records on Friday last week.
Juliana is said to be targeting the ongoing campaign to go around Uganda teaching citizens the national anthem where she will bag millions of cash from the Ministry of Tourism.
Last week, there was talk that the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Tourism had embarked on a move to modify the National Anthem. The modification is expected to integrate a clearer picture of Uganda’s tourism potentials especially the pearl of Africa icon.
However, the idea of modifying the anthem has not gone down well with some of the citizens some arguing that this will be a waste of time and money. “We don’t need nice voices for our anthem…what we need are meaningful words,” a concerned citizen noted.
