Juliana Kanyomozi producing show about women empowerment

Juliana Kanyomozi is working on an upcoming talk show about women empowerment with females in the entertainment industry that will be launched this July.
Dubbed “The Sit Down”, the show that will be hosted and executive produced by the singer herself will feature 6 media personalities talking about their different experiences in life and the industry that has shaped them to become the successful women they are today.

According to the snippet, it features influential women like Sheebah Karungi, Sheila Gashumba, Faridah Nakazibwe, Rema Namakula, and Anita Beryl.

Broke Sipapa fails to pay rent, arrested for beating journalist

Embattled business man Charles Alim aka Sipapa is in hot soup after police raided his place and arrested him on double charges. Sipapa is alleged to have defaulted his rent arrears of about three months. It is reported that Sipapa who was being evicted also beat up a journalist who was on scene recording.

The now broke Sipapa is currently detained at Kira Police Station over assaulting a one Alex Bongole, a Spark TV Journalist who was taking pictures of him when he (Sipapa) was being evacuated from his house. Even though this is still a developing story, this is not the first time Sipapa has been arrested as a few months ago on 8th May he was charged with violating traffic rules after getting arrested along Kampala road.

On July 19, Sipapa was once again arrested for being a public nuisance and inconsiderate use of a motor vehicle at Kisekka Market in Kampala, following distress calls from business owners in the area.

Tamale Mirundi releases book about Bryan White

Media personality and Senior Presidential advisor, Tamale Mirundi has joined the masses of those who see sense in philanthropist Brian Kirumira alias Bryan White.  Commonly known as ‘Angel Gabriel’ for his nonsense utterances, Tamale Mirundi has published a book about Bryan White. The 56 paged book is titled Brian White- ‘The Story of a Malicious Footballer’ Tamale Mirundi tells the story of How Brian White doesn’t belong to the mafia gang.

“Brian White does not belong to the mafia gang. You must remember that mafia ensures that they control every important person in the country. If you refuse to work for them or accept to remain under their armpit, they fight you and remove you from government. I have always elaborated how government officials who are not members of the mafia gang are subjected to attacks through media”. part of the story goes in the book.

In the book, Tamale Mirundi adds that The mafias influenced stories to appear as if Bryan White is a criminal. The stories implicated him as a thief who has been found with a stolen vehicle in his residence. The police raided his home with an army of journalists with an intention to malign him. Even when he came out to defend himself, the shameless media gave it scanty publicity in order to protect their malicious story that was earlier published……… part of the story reads.

Tamale Mirundi is a veteran journalist with vast experience, started as a newspaper vendor and rose through the ranks to become a senior editor in Munno News paper. Mirundi is an independent popular intellectual and participant in many TV and radio talk shows.

Photos: Bryan White builds church

Re-known city money bag and humanitarian Bryan White known for his kind and giving mentality has planted a smile on the faces of the Anglican believers in Luwero district. Bryan White earlier this year started a job to put a structure for the Christians in Luwero district and together with the church erected erected the Parish church of St Stephen Church.

After three months, the church is close to completion. When the foundation headed by Bryan White visited the church last week the structure was only left to roof. According to its clergy it will complete by December 25th.

Bryan White is estimated to have contributed upto 25 million shillings towards the construction of the church. It should also be remembered that Bryan White also previously contributed towards the completion of the late Mowzey Radio’s mother.
