It’s the year of local music collaborations and just when Radio and Weasel decided to do something with Chameleone, songstress Juliana Kanyomozi of the “Edibba” fame has also gone to studio in a collabo with the Ganda Boys at Fenon studios.
“Now this one’s gonna blow yo mind. Music in its true definition. Much respect Ganda Boys,” said Juliana about the collabo.
The Ganda boys also posted saying, “Work in Progress. Ganda Boys forever.”
The Ganda Boys (formaly known as Da Twinz) was formed in 2008 through an exciting collaboration on the highly acclaimed 2009 BBC-TV drama series, MOSES JONES.
Denis Mugagga, Craig Pruess and Daniel Sewagudde immediately found that they had a special sound and style together – and that they could write lots of songs as a team (so easily!) and the result was immediate, soulful, amazing and rewarding.
Bringing an international and professional feel to all the recordings, they finished their first album, “The War of Love”, a CD which is strong and vibrant, and then in 2012 released their powerful second album, “Africa” – both milestones in African fusion music.
