Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka is giving fans another reason to look forward to his upcoming concert, Into the B’raka Land, announcing discounted ticket prices to coincide with the release of his latest single, Commando, featuring Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage.
The ticket promotion, which runs through Sunday at 11:59pm, offers discounted rates on both General Admission and VIP tickets, giving fans an opportunity to secure their places at the November 28 concert at reduced prices.
The announcement comes as Baraka released Commando, one of the most anticipated collaborations from his upcoming EP, Recess 2. The song brings together the Ugandan singer and Tiwa Savage in a record built around perseverance, ambition and the determination to succeed against the odds, not just for oneself but also for the people one loves.
The collaboration is particularly significant for Uganda’s music industry, marking Tiwa Savage’s first musical collaboration with a Ugandan artist. It is also only her third collaboration with an East African act, following previous projects with Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Kenya’s Sauti Sol.
For Baraka, the release represents another milestone in an increasingly international musical journey, one that has seen him build a growing audience beyond Uganda’s borders while retaining a distinctly African musical identity.
His journey also aligns with the spirit of Johnnie Walker’s Keep Walking campaign, under which Baraka is recognised as one of the brand’s Iconic Walkers. The campaign celebrates individuals pushing boundaries, pursuing their ambitions and inspiring others through their journeys.
Johnnie Walker will also be part of the Into the B’raka Land concert on November 28, bringing the campaign’s message of progress and forward movement into a live music experience.
With Commando now out and the ticket promotion running through the weekend, the release offers fans both a new musical experience and an incentive to be part of what is shaping up to be a significant moment in Baraka’s career.
Fans can purchase discounted General Admission and VIP tickets through the official Into the B’raka Land ticketing channels before the offer expires on Sunday at 11:59pm.
