Producer Josh SB, real name Joshua Waiswa Timothy, has finally unveiled his debut EP titled “God DNA” .
Josh released his EP at a listening party held at Newday bookshop, Acacia Mall on Friday evening. He entertained his host of fans who turned up for the event as he performed all the songs off the EP.
Speaking about the music project, he revealed that the EP, which he worked on for two years, is a self-expression and personal account of his journey with God.
He further noted that the whole story on the EP is highlighted in the title track “God DNA”.
“‘God DNA’, which is the title track, highlights what the whole EP is about,” he said.
He went on to detail the message embodied in each song. “Mo Roots starts by asking whether you know who you are. After knowing who you are, Barlow tells you about God’s love, then Jinsu talks about wildness; it is at this point that usually you have hit trials and temptations in your salvation journey. Kamanzi restores your faith reminding you that God’s love is always abound. Now that you have gone this far, Sandra Suubi tells you its time to kneel down and tell God that let His purpose be fulfilled.” He explained.
The EP boasts of 6 tracks and features different artistes including Ruyonga, Sandra Suubi, Mo Roots, Kamanzi, Roy Kasika and Ginsu. It is being sold at 20K and several individuals walked away with autographed copies at the listening party.
