URBAN TV’s Joseph Opio could not contain his excitement at the reception he received from the South African audience when he performed his standup routine last week. The comedian was on a tour in South Africa where he held one of his performances in Johannesburg.
The Vision Group employee then shared on his wall to show his appreciation.
“Just woken up to rush to SABC(South African Broadcasting Corporation) for an early morning interview. Wow! I still can’t believe how much fun I had on stage last night. I had so much fun that had I been in Uganda, Fr. Simon Lokodo and other Fun-Nazis would have instantly sponsored a Bill in Parliament to ban my stand-up routine.” he posted.
“Love, love stand-up comedy! Love, love South African audiences!” he added.
Joseph Opio is a Ugandan stand-up comedian and television show host, whose razor-sharp wit, original material and impeccable delivery has already earned him an impressive reputation back at home and on the South African comedy scene.
