Uganda’s best export to America, Joseph Opio, is back in the country for holidays.
The Daily show writer who is here to celebrate what he has been making abroad with the family said that he will engage himself in several activities that he has been missing about Uganda for the past months.
He also told us about his Writers Guild Awards (WGA) nomination after being nominated for his work at The Daily show. He has written over 200 episodes of the show so far.
“The nomination is big and I don’t take it for granted, he said. “Even if I don’t win I will be still be humbled as ours is a new show that took on from very big show,” he added.
Opio who used to work with Vision Group now makes over 100 million every month. We are glad to have you back and wish you the best in the WGA’ come February 19th.
