JOSE MOURINHO is not worried about Manchester United ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League Group G clash with Maribor.
Chelsea host the Slovenian outfit at Stamford Bridge tonight, with a trip to Old Trafford on Sunday next up.
Mourinho will go head-to-head with former mentor Louis van Gaal when his table-toppers meet sixth place United.
But the Blues boss is only thinking about Maribor and not the visit to Manchester at the weekend.
“I don’t have Man United in mind,” Mourinho said. “I have Maribor in mind.
“I don’t rest players. We must play with what we have, with the best we have.
“We are not going to concede any favour by resting people or changing the team, no way.”
Top scorer Diego Costa, Ramires, Andre Schurrle and John Obi Mikel all picked up injuries on international duty.
And with a number of absentees, Mourinho is refusing to underestimate the opposition.
He said: “We worked studying them and I’m happy because my players now have the feeling that they are a difficult opponent.”
His major selection dilemma is whether Didier Drogba or Loic Remy will start up front in the ongoing absence of Costa, who has a hamstring problem.
“You speak about Diego, I don’t speak about Diego,” Mourinho added.
“I say to my players: ‘I don’t want to speak about injured players’.
“When somebody is injured I always look at it as an opportunity for another player. When he’s not here, he’s not here.”
